Deep House Archives Vol. 31 - Better Days
Greetings,
The latest installment of the Deep House Archives comes, as per the blog's traditions, right before the official start of the summer season. "Better Days", mixed by Theo Zanos, is filled with the latest offerings of the nu disco genre, a style featured almost a year ago in this blog with the 24th DHA volume. Although nu disco has been receiving increased attention lately, several artists managed to retain the originality and freshness of their sound until now and this mix provides a testament to their creative abilities. Named after the legendary NYC club, where the late Loleatta Holloway performed the "My Loleatta" acapella featured in the mix, the new DHA update provides the right soundtrack to welcome those better days ahead.
Special thanks for the original art for this mix go to a very talented friend and fan of the podcast, Jesse Nunez.
Don't forget that you can also join the deep house archives mailing list to receive alerts about updates.
